As many of you may know, I’m a mom of two and lover of all things beauty. For today’s blog post, I’m sharing what inspired me to create two of my favorite vanity mirrors - the Vera and Nala - and to help you decide which mirror is best for you. (Spoiler alert - I vote both 😉)

Have you ever rushed out the house, done a quick check in your car mirror to find unblended makeup and heavy-handed bronzer? #CRINGE Yeah, that was me a few years ago until designing our range of LED lighted mirrors. I helped to create all of our vanity mirrors to end bad beauty lighting because I was tired of makeup mishaps. I was tired of over-doing it on my makeup and therefore masking my true beauty. NALA - the Multi-tasker

Most mornings my routine looks a little something like this: Me with a bouncing-off-the-wall toddler pulling on my leg while caring for my new baby, trying to apply my makeup and prepare a nutritious breakfast. Anyone else? 🙋‍♀️ Life gets busy which is exactly why we created the Nala vanity mirror. I can take Nala with me anywhere in the house, including our favorite place….the kitchen 😋. VERA - the Self-Care Diva

As a busy mom, it’s often easy to forget to focus some time on myself. Our Vera Vanity mirror was designed with the same amazing natural daylight LEDs as Nala, but with an extra dose of elegance and class. Vera sits beautifully on top of a vanity table and is the mirror I use most when it’s weekend mode and time to pamper myself with my skincare routine or test out a new makeup hack. Vera's larger mirror face provides a greater visible area for me to work on. I grab Vera when I am trying out a new foundation to ensure it blends seamlessly from my face down to my neck (I trust Vera more than anyone at Sephora!) or trying out a new hairstyle I saw on Pinterest.
